msm North East

You are invited to share a learning journey in a supportive community to be equipped for a lifetime of good practice and learning in growing fresh expressions of church.

Your local course

The Church of England, Methodist, Baptist and Free Churches in the North East are delighted to make msm available locally. We believe it will be a significant resource for building the Kingdom of God in this area.

Individuals are most welcome, but we particularly hope that small groups from a church will come as this will deepen the impact of the course.

The course leader is Elaine Lindridge, Evangelism Enabler for the Newcastle Methodist District and there are a mix of national and local teachers.

Sessions will be held at Carville Methodist Church, Durham, DH1 1BQ.
Residential weekend will be at Sneaton Castle, Whitby, North Yorkshire, YO21 3QN.

Cost

The cost of the course is £300 per person, which covers all materials, refreshments and the weekend away. Financial support may be available.

I found the msm course invaluable as it covered every aspect of planning, commencing, sustaining and evaluating a fresh expression of church. It was not only applicable to those starting or thinking about starting a fresh expression - it also was relevant to those endeavouring to transform existing forms and styles of church. Listening to a wide variety of informed speakers, sharing in small group discussion and hearing stories of others in an ecumenical setting, widened my horizons and understanding. I am sure that anyone who takes part in this course will be blessed, gain in knowledge and be able to see more clearly what God is asking of them as they reach out in His name.
